I tried the new WinPE 3.0 too and i've got the same error "couldn´t connect to localhost". I also tried "net start mms" but unfortunately it didn't solve the problem! It seems that the service stop by itself after few secondes with the sytem error 1067.
Any ideas?

Ditto Here.
I have been at this for DAYS !!! ;-)
Currently I have PE ATI 11 Running on WinPE2. But Win PE 3 fails when snapapi is looking for the drives. So I did what the above person obviously did with the winpe b&R ISO builder and have the same error he has. Local Host etc etc.
Goal is to have a Winpe 3 disk that can make a backup image as we can with Bart PE.
Currently playing with the 2010 bart PE plug-in and getting side-by-side errors
PLEASE HELP !!!

Hello all,
Thank you for using [[http://www.acronis.com/enterprise/ | Acronis Corporate Products]]
Please try to follow the steps described in the article mentioned by FBMachines:
After you receive the error message, start the Acronis Managed Machine service manually:
- In the command line enter net start mms;
- Then start Acronis Bootable Media X:\Program Files\Acronis\BackupAndRecovery\trueimage_starter.exe
If this doesn't help, please try to ping localhost, the issue can be related to the network configuration.
Brian,
Could you please let us know the exact error messages that appear in BartPE environment?
We are looking forward to hearing back from you at your earliest convenience.
Thank you.

Hi,
Acronis Support told me that Windows 7 aka WinPE 3.0 is not supported in the available builds right now.
So no 100% Windows 7 Support. Only Home Users have Windows 7 / WinPE Support!
Business Users are on a low priority level...

Hello Jürgen,
Let me clarify this situation for you.
Actually, Windows 7 system itself is supported by Acronis Backup & Recovery 10. Please check this article for the detailed information.
But WinPE 3.0 version is not supported by current version of our products, probably it will be added to one of next product releases.
Additionally to this, you are welcome to ask me any other questions concerning Acronis, and I will assist you further.
Regards,

Hello Alexander,
Actually we all know that ABR supports Windows 7. What pisses us off is the fact that your enterprise class users are unable to use WinPE 3.0 while home users are. It seems to me that you folks at Acronis have your priorities backwards.
