subject variable used in email notifications

Thread needs solution

Hi,

I re-created a new vmprotect appliance and I discovered that the email notifications for backup task including a default variable in the subject line. I tested it. It sent some status of the task. Are there any documentation somewhere listing all available variables for vmprotect? The default variable is "[Operation result]" but I would like to understand what exactly it is and if there is any other that I can use, please

Thanks
Aldous

Hi Aldous,

Right now there is no way to adjust the e-mail notification default subject templates. If you leave the subject field blank (default) then the subject will be formed as follows:

Task '[Task_name]' has [failed/succeeded/completed with warnings] on machine '[VM Name]'.

You cannot add manual variables to the subject yet. We're going to expand this functionality in the next version (to add custom variables).

Thank you.
