Vmprotect 9 : not enough licences to backup the selected VM

Thread needs solution

Hi all !

config : esxi VMware 5.5.0
3 VM (sbs2011 + 2 x 2008 R2)

I have a licence certificate on which is written : number of licenses : 2
i have typed my license serial number in vmprotect 9, and in configuration/licenses i have : 1 license ???

when i run vmprotect and select my VM to backup, it says : not enough licenses available to backup the selected VM: Number of supp required licenses : 1

what's wrong ????

thanks for your feedback.

Hi Claude,

Most likely you haven't got the 2nd serial number for some reasons. Each SN contains a license for 1 CPU, so since you purchased 2 licenses, you should get 2 SNs. I'd recommended contacting our Live Chat support service (http://www.acronis.com/en-us/support/contact-us.html ) for quick assistance (basing on your purchase confirmation our support staff will find the missing SN).

Thank you.

Hi,

Had an online chat with an Acronis tech which gave the missing serial number, cause i only had one on my sheet.
So the problem is solved.
