Backup and restore with different Raid configurations

Thread needs solution

Hello Community

I have a HPE Proliant Gen10 Windows 2016 Server with Raid5 configuration.

I would like to make a complete backup with Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5 Standard (which is already installed on the server) then completely erase the array, create new Raid10 array, and restore from a backup.

If I do a backup with the existing Raid5, will it work to restore this backup on the same machine and same disks but with a completly new Raid10 array configuration?

And if I choose to replace the disks for new ones, will it work too ?

Is there any known problem with Acronis 12.5 and HPE Proliant Gen10 servers or P408i-a SR array ?

This is a production server, so I need to be sure before doing it.

Hi intech,
