Yearly Backup

Thread needs solution

I have a Acronis 10 that can do full backup on every 1-Jan , keep 7 years

However, I don't see the specific day option in the Acronis 12? How do I do yearly backup?

Thanks

Hi,

Currently you can only schedule a monthly backup and restrict its execution time by specific date (for example run from 2nd of March until 3rd of March) - this will be effectively 1-time only backup, e.g. once within current year. We are planning to add ability to define specific months when to execute backup (request ID: ABR-112789) - this feature is planned to be added into Acronis Backup 12 by the end of this year.

Thank you.

I'm in the same boat. I would like to have the ability to specify retention.

  • Yearly for 10 years
  • Monthly For 12 Months
  • Weekly for 4 Weeks
  • Daily for 7 Days
  • Hourly for XX Hrs

Thank you, I've noted your feedback in our internal system with feature requests

Same here, I would like to see the option of running yearly backups and retain them for 7 years. I do not see this option in my Acronis True Image 2021.

Hello Bernhard!

This is the forum for Acronis Cyber Backup 12.5, and apparently an old thread where this wasn't yet possible. You can achieve your desired schedule now with Cyber Backup 12.5.

I can't answer whether True Image can also do this. I suggest you ask in the True Image forums
