Update 12.5 / 15 Many things are missing after the update

Thread needs solution

I am very disappointed with the update from 12.5 to 15.
One third of the machines suddenly have their licenses gone.
I installed on our ESX 6 VM. The license is also gone for two of these VMs. If I now add the license to one VM, it is suddenly missing from another VM!
All backup plans are gone on two thirds of my machines. Importing the plans saved in 12.5 does not work!

Hi Norbert,

Seems you're not alone!

I'm seeing something very similar that is affecting my workstation licenses and backup plans, here:

https://forum.acronis.com/forum/acronis-cyber-protect-15/upgrade-125-15-assigned-license-does-not-allow-shared-backup-plans

Hoping for a resolution very quickly.

Neil

Hello Norbert,

thank you for posting on Acronis forums!

We are sorry to know that you experience issues with assigning licenses and importing backup/protection plans. We strongly recommend that you open a case with Acronis Support Team for investigating the issues.

Neil, the issue that you described in a neighbor thread is a functional limitation of a Standard license type.

Hello everybody
Acronis automatically adds Activ Protection and Vulnerability Analysis to every plan when you upgrade. If a device has several plans, only one is updated and all the others are gone! It would have been better to let yourself decide for each plan, or to have these two things deactivated for the first time. That would have saved a lot of work!

Yes this is the most annoying part for me. Support was useless here and i ended up in the give us this and that circle, insted of acronis simply testing their software before release or at least when i tell them they have a bug and others in the forum, too. Anyway i found a workaround for this issue.
Deactivate all plans and then update. All plans should now be migrated and not dropped. I restored the v12 in a vm and a different subnet, then removed all machines and deactivated all plans and upgraded, exported the plans and imported in prod.

Hi! Would you mind sharing the ticket ID, so that we can look into the situation?
