ACPHO - blocks Webex desktop app from starting a meeting

Thread needs solution

Hi

A long outstanding issue with Webex Desktop App failing to start a meeting and generating an error has been chased to ACPHO. However it's not been possible to configure ACPHO to exclude interfering with Webex. Also turning OFF the Anti-ransonware and Vulnerability protection does not fix the issue. Only un-installing Acronis allows the Webex desktop app to then function correctly.

The issue is Webex needs to create a file in c:\users\<user id>\Appdata\roaming\webex and is prevented from doing so by ACPHO.

The Webex error encountered is "due to a connection issue you cannot invite or remind others unless you exit and restart the meeting" - this has been investigated by Cisco and the cause traced to Acronis.

Looking for guidance as to getting these 2 programs to co-exist or a possible issue with Acronis protection not excluding items listed under "Protection exclusions" maybe.

The normal un-install/re-install of both products has been done and the issue re-occurs when ACPHO is re-installed.

Any ideas?

MC
