MacBook Pro M1 Pro , macos 13.1 - Error while backup

Thread needs solution

Hello,

I am currently experiencing a backup problem using Acronis True Image 2021 on my macbook Pro.

The issue is as followes:

2023-01-25T13:05:03:872+00:00 8360835712 E013C0005: Error 0x13c0005: Operation has completed with errors.
| trace level: error
| line: 0x9f2c53c72e8bcedb
| file: /Users/hudson_agent/bs_hudson/workspace/ati-main-mac-ati/858/product/products/imager/demon/main.cpp:741

I beleive the error is caused due to incompatability of acronis true image.

Is there a solution to that problem?

Thank you :)

Hello Pelopidas.

Thanks for posting!

The issue doesn't seem related with the compatibility as the OS is supported.

Some potential causes of this error could be a corrupted backup file, a problem with the backup location, or a software issue. Here are a few steps you can take to try and resolve the problem:

  1. Check the backup location: Make sure that the location where you are trying to save the backup is accessible and has enough space. If the location is on an external drive, make sure the drive is properly connected and functioning.

  2. Verify the backup file: If you suspect that the backup file may be corrupted, try verifying the backup using the "Validate Backup" feature in Acronis True Image. This will check the integrity of the backup file and ensure that it is usable.

  3. Check for errors in the disks with the app from Mac for the disks.
  4. Consider to upgrade the product to the latest version.

If the issue persists, feel free to reply or contact our support https://kb.acronis.com/content/8153

Hope this helps!
