CPU running high, There is a thread from July - is this still a persistent problem?

Thread needs solution

sigh, Acronis is sure putting a strain on my computer for no reason, especially when I'm not running any backups. Can someone please point me how to have this stop. I'm a little frustrated that Acronis has managed to change their name but can't fix this really nasty problem...

Do you have another anti-malware product installed on your computer?  If you do it is recommended that you uninstall it so that no conflicts will exist between it and Acronis thus eliminating your issue,
