extract individual files from *.tibx file

Thread needs solution

I have a *.tibx file created on a computer that I no longer own. It is on a external HDD without any additional files. I installed my licensed copy of Acronis Cyber Protect Home Office on my new PC. It is the same software that created the *.tibx file originally but I cannot figure out how to open it. it does not show up in the dashboard as a restorable backup. When I double click on it in Explorer it asks me what to open it with. It does not appear to be associated with any executable.  I've tried all of the executables in the Acronis directory but none of the them will open it. I just need to extract 20 or so files but no idea how to accomplish that.

Ken, welcome to these public User Forums.

If you have ACPHO installed correctly (as Administrator) on your new PC then it should have provided the necessary Windows shell integration to allow you to double-click on any .tib / .tibx files in Explorer.
