Sync Agent

Thread needs solution

when the pc is rebooted the syncagentsrv needs to be restarted for syncs to begin. untill this happens acronis just shows red circles with an x.

so whenever i start the computer i have to open task manager services and restart the sync agent.

James, all the Acronis services are normally set to start automatically by default when the product is installed using an Administrator account.

Check the services.msc (control panel) that the SyncAgent service is set correctly for automatic start.

Was Acronis installed from and being run from an Administrator account?

Do you have any security applications that might be interfering here?

it is set for automatic (delayed start) which I read somewhere that's what it should be set at

should I just set it at automatic?

one other thing I should note, is that when I open services after rebooting it says syncagentsrv is running but syncs will not start until I restart the syncagentsrv

James, it might be worth trying a Repair Install of Acronis which will set all the correct startup options for all services etc.
