Transfer data from old to new SD card
Hi everyone, I have bought a new SDXC 128GB microSD (formatted with exFAT) for my Android phone, currently I am using an old SDHC 32GB microSD (formatted with FAT32). I'd want to clone the old SD to the new one so that my phone does not see any change, but cloning would imply bringing FAT32 to the new SD, which I don't want to happen.
Is it possible to get something similar to cloning (everything the same except for the file system) through some of Acronis backup solutions? The old SD card contains only data, I just need it to be exactly the same on the new one (I think, but I am definitely not a file systems expert).
Thanks to anyone that will try to help me out :)

Alright, thank you. Doing a backup&recover to transfer the data seems a good idea, as long as the old SD's FAT32 doesn't replace exFAT on the new one and everything else remains the same.
Aside from that, do you think I shall mess with sector-by-sector backup? I haven't been able to find out if, compared to normal backupping, it brings over the file system type or not.
Thank you again :)

Sector by sector backup will take the FAT32 to the new SD card.
Backing-up the old SD card using Files and Folders will not change the file system of the new SD card. If something goes wrong you can always reformat the SD card.

Sounds good, thanks. If I may ask, do you know if things like the files' date created, date modified etc will stay the same after restoring the backup to the new card?

The dates and other metadata will stay the same. Just did a recovery and I can confirm this is the case.

Alright, then. Thank you for all your help, I'd have to mark all your replies as solutions but I have marked the first one anyway, hoping that anyone else who has the same problem will keep on reading.
Thank you again, have a nice time :)
