Can I create partitions on my expansion USB drive after transferring data

Thread needs solution

I purchased a 1 TB drive and since i wasin an emergency situation tranferred about 35 gb data onto the drive immediately. i now want to make this expansion drive into 3 partitions. Can i yet do so without moving the data out in non-destructive manner?

Theoretically how would Disk Director 2011 handle the issue if my first partition was 25 GB and the data currenbtly ion the non-partitioned drive was 35 GB?

You could move/resize the current partition so it starts 25GB into the drive. Then you could create the 25GB partition at the beginning.

Note that it's recommended to have a backup of the drive before making partitioning changes if the data is important.
