cloning with disk director 11 home

Thread needs solution

hello,
I bought the acronis disk director 11 home on the 10/10/2010 on your website. I'm on windows7 64bit, running on an ssd intel, and I made an update of my disk director on 11/15/2010.
I would like to clone my os partition on an other disk. So I select my os disk and disk director allow me to copy, convert, verify... etc, but there is no item "cloning a basic disk" or "cloning" or similar. Tehre is only "copy volume" but it doesn't copy the NT sign.

What can I do? Is my version of disk director 11 home consider as a trial version? But I paid for it!
Is there an other update to do? Please answer my problem, because cloning disk was my biggest need when I bought the software.
Thank you.

Francois,

Could you post some screen snips of what your copy of DD11 is showing?

Are you sure you clicked on the actual disk icon and not the partition by mistake?

When the whole disk is selected you should see the option to clone in two places.

1. Right click on the disk icon and the sub menu should have the clone option available.

2. On the actions and tools panel on the right hand side of the GUI.

How are the disk formatted as basic or dynamic disks?

Thank you very much.

You were right, I did not select the disk but the partition!
Then it works very well. I think I was too tired... thanks a lot!
