Cloning from one External HDD to another External HDD
Have only Disk Director 11
Dont want to use Windows copy, as I have a load of NTFS permissions on the External USB disk (logical drive with two logical partititons).
Have tried to clone one USB HDD to another HDD.
Source USB HDD: Plugged into USB
Destination USB HDD: Plugged into E-Sata USB
When I set up cloing, with copying and copying NT signature, and submit,
computer reboots and then starts the process . . . looks promising,
but by the time it started copying the first partition, a bunch of error messages flash by the screen.
First of all, is it possible to clone from one USB to another SUB drive?

Hello Glenn,
Yes, USB to USB disk cloning is supported. The error message indicates that you need to check disk for errors with enabled option to automatically repair found issues. Then reattempt the cloning.
If you still experience any issues with direct cloning, see if you have a third drive, big enough to accomodate a disk image of occupied data on your source (first) USB HDD. If yes, then a method USB HDD -> .tib file -> USB/eSATA HDD would do the job for you. A free trial version of Acronis True Image 2017 would help you. See my post here for details on getting the free trial and contacting Support if needed.
Regards,
Slava
