Cloning Windows 10 on SSD to NVME M.2...

Thread needs solution

Im considering replacing my SSD boot drive with a new super fast NVME M.2.

Any potential pitfalls I should be aware of in preparation to clone my SSD to M.2?

Will DD12 cope or do I need 12.5?

Thanks.

Hello Board Room,

please refer to the guidance shared by our MVP https://forum.acronis.com/comment/506987#comment-506987 (migration via cloning)

https://forum.acronis.com/comment/497780#comment-497780 (migration via backup/restore) I'd recommend this way, as having a full system backup is in any case safer than cloning a drive without any recovery points available. You can install a free trial of Acronis True Image to accomplish this scenario.
