DD 12.5 finally bring 4K HDD support, only 4.5 years later.

I'm a long time user of Acronis' products, namely Disk Director and Home Image.  The Survival Disk on USB has in the past been very helpful in handling my IT maintenance needs wherever I be.  Until 4K HDDs came out in 2014...

Many external HDDs come with some inefficient partitioning, and I like to clean them up from wasting space.  Unfortunately, I posted about the lack of support for this back in 2014, and now, being 2019, they finally updated the application to support it.  And subsequently wants to charge an upgrade fee to get it.

This is a terrible business model.  12.5 has the same ancient GUI, just some bugfix and the added 4K support.

I've had to resort to using your competitor's product in the meanwhile, which they offer for free, and has worked on 4K since 2014.  And their backup and partition tool support a bootable media option for recovery as well.

Acronis once meant a certain level of professionalism and quality of product and service.  How you have fallen.
