Hi folks - I used this product to partition a Hard Drive (separating OS and Data drives).

I then bought another HD (SSHD) and moved the OS over to it.

I believe that I'm no longer the product (to partition my HD) - but I'd like to be CERTAIN of this before I upgrade my OS to 7.0.

How can I determine if it is still being used (short of uninstalling it and finding out that was a bad idea ... )?

DD is only "in use" when being used by you or when running an operation you told it to. There shouldn't be a problem uninstalling it, assuming it uninstalls correctly. There are some cases where the snapman driver doesn't get removed correctly and it causes a BSOD afterwards. I'd suggest creating a backup image first.
