Disk Read Error, only with boot CD, ADD11

Thread needs solution

I have 2 primary partitons with WinXP and Win7 and several logical partitions. They are located on a Raid-0 drive (with Intel@ Matrix Storage Manager). When copying the second primary partiton with ADD11 on the boot-CD, at a specific location on the drive ADD11 returns a Disk Read Error and the advice to run CHKDSK. However, this utility detects no bad sectors. Copying with ADD11 on Windows (XP or 7) goes without any problem.

The Drive is 300GB and the place at which the error occurs, is located approximately 44 GB from the start of the drive (ADD11 only returns the error without indicating the location).
I deleted the partition and restored it at a shifted location including the fault location. The Read Error persisted at the same physical location on the drive.
Earlier, I had only 1 primary partion followed by several logical partitions. I never had problems copying the logical partition that covered the 44 GB physical location. I repeated the tests using both versions of ADD11: the fault persisted.
