Error when trying to create a logical partition
I receive these errors when trying to create a new logical partition.
I also receive the same errors when I tried to just resize a partition.
I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling Acronis Disk Director, and this is a fresh install of Windows XP SP3, with all current updates installed.
I am using Acronis Disk Director 11.0.216
Any ideas on how to remedy this error?

Ill give the update a try later tonight when I'm back at my home computer. If that doesn't work, there is no way I will pay again, for the older version of Acronis. I will try to get a refund if the update doesn't work.

Chad:
I understand your position. I did both...got the discounted ADD10 and the refund for ADD11. The way old Partition Magic 7 and 8 will also work very well with XP SPx, provided you haven't done any drive or partition edits using Acronis software.

I had the same issue on trying to Resize my partition (Windows XP, SP3, Dell Laptop)
But I was was able to proceed by using the Bootable CD version of Acronis. When selecting the media type to create I selected: "Linux-Based" and "Windows-like representation". The bootable version recognized my drive, and the data on it. And though it took a good 20 minutes (with almost no progress indication), the re-size was successful.
Hope this helps someone.
