Folder missing after running Check Volume on a Drive
After running "check volume" on a drive with Disk Director 12, i went back into the drive and a main folder is missing. This folder has many personal files and pictures and videos that i need for a web site that i'm looking after and have to update frequently.
The drive appears in My Computer as having 363g left of 913g , which means the files are still on the drive but the folders are not being shown.
When i go into the drive in Disk Director and click on "browse files" there is a folder there called "found001" that when i click on it all my missing files and folders are shown.
But if i go to the drive in My Computer, this folder "found001" is not to be seen.
How can i get this folder re-shown in My Computer so that i can rename it into the folders that i need , or is there a way to restore this folder to its proper view??
Please , i'm at my wits end and am not looking forward to explaining to the people that i run this website for what happened.
Thank you and i hope someone can help me out.

p.s. - 'check volume' command just invokes builtin chkdsk utility.
i've gone into windows "folder view" and turned on "show hidden" and "system" but to no avail. I have been able to recover the folders via a second program , but they are still hogging space on the other hard drive and would like to be able to recover them on this drive as it's dedicated to the web site that i'm working on.
The drive that i've recovered them to is a personal drive and the drive that they are still missing from is the drive that belongs to the web site. I would like to be able to either delete them from the old drive or recover them to that drive so that i can get my personal drive back and the web site drive back to its old state.
