Hi everybody,

I need help urgently.
Acronis support is not eager to help me.
After upgrade from disk director 10 to 11 OSSELECtor does not recognize my Ubuntu partition anymore.
Could you tell me how to reactivate GRUB with a Linux installation CD?
I have 5 options when I start Ubuntu installation.
1.start Ubuntu without installing
2.install buntu
3.check DVD for errors
4.test RAM
5.bott from the first Partition (which starts OSSELECTOR, not GRUB)

please help me. I need my Ubuntu back again.

What version of Ubuntu are you using? Instructions are different depending of whether GRUB or GRUB2 is being used.

Is Ubuntu's booting partition a Primary partition? The booting partition will be the Ubuntu partition if there isn't a dedicated /boot partition.
