Hello. I have installed Acronis Disk Director 10 and do not manage to create any division. Seemingly the process is executed but when everything is begun again the PC it continues equally. I have tried disconnecting the antivirus and neither. Not that to do. I run Windows XP SP2.
On the secondary hard disks I can do what he wants but in that I have the operating system it continues all the steps and it seems that it carries the operations out but when it begins exactly equal this one again.

That problem is usually because DD is unable to make the changes and so it aborts. Sometimes a drive is detected differently after the reboot, for example. In these cases, it's generally best to boot to the DD CD and make the changes instead of doing it from Windows.

Please note that it's recommended to create a backup of the drive before making partitioning changes in case something goes wrong.
