It's December, where is Disk Director 11?

Thread needs solution

I hope so too - that program is a must have. DD10 crashed the living heck out of Windows 7 when I installed it and I have been waiting ever since for the upgrade...

The good news is that DD11 has had a long beta which of course gives a greater chance of bugs being found. I imagine Acronis are trying to ensure they have as many bases covered so that DD11 will have less 'surprises' when it goes into release.

There is also the fact that OSS is being put back in and this might have delayed the release slightly, as OSS in DD10 did cause many problems, and maybe these are being ironed out for DD11.

Since Disk Director 10 is not apparently compatible with Windows7, I tried a well known free partitioning tool that was supposedly Win7 x64 compatible. The result was a screwed up partition requiring recovery of the data off the partition and reformatting it. As I am in the market for a Windows7 compatible product I thought by now version 11 of Disk Directory would of been released. Guess I will have to see what else is available.

Guess you will have to hold your breath wee while longer

(persanaly speaking you can hold it as long as you like!)

xsxhit oops that sound sexual and not what I meant one bit !
- crikey, how 'PC' rubbish we have to be these days
