Moving Win 7 from HD to SSD
Thread needs solution
I want to move my Win7 x64 from device C: (HDD with 1,5TB, devided in C: 180GB, D: 10GB, E: 1,3GB) to a new installed SDD with 120 GB. The used space of C: is nearly 80GB. After moving the Win7 device I want to boot from SSD while using the whole HDD for data storage.
I think cloning the basic disk is not possible because there is not enough space on SDD. I think cloning is working only on the whole basic drive.
Is there a way to solve this problem?

Is it really so simple?

It can be. Depending on the particular setup there may be other steps involved.
