No OSS on boot media

Thread needs solution

I created a boot media disc but OSS was not on it. Could any one please tell me why? Could you also tell me how to get it on the boot media disc? I should add that I have TI11 and DD11 load on my pc.

thanks

Did you select to include it when creating the CD? It should show up in the same list where you select DD and TI.

Do you mean TI 11 or TI 2011?

Thank you MudCrab.

I have TI2011 and I still can't find the OSS to download to the boot media.

I hope that you are willing to field a few other questions.

How does one protect the tib files that were created if they are not kept in the ASZ. I have been totally confused as how to get the ASZ to work properly and someone suggested deleting it. So I did but now I am concerned with the tib files falling prey to the anti virus and malware software that I have. What I have been doing is just disconnecting it.

OSS is part of DD, not TI.

You should be able to exclude the TIB files from being scanned or exclude the partition/folder from being scanned, though these options would depend on your security software.

Thank you MudCrab.

I recall your name from when I was actively using TI9. I am pleased to see you are still here.

I did not try to make a boot media disk from DD11 but I thought that it would show up as an option when I made the boot media from TI2011 and it did not.

On an unrelated note do you use a registry cleaner. I just found a free one on Gizmo named Ccleaner and I was impressed with it, but then at this point it was the bells and whistles that impressed me. Are you familiar with it?

I should have added that I have the Plus Pack, if that makes a difference.

I don't generally use a registry cleaner. I tend to avoid them since I've seen some of the problems they can cause.

The Media Builder programs don't always work well/properly with multiple Acronis programs. Try directly from DD and see if it shows up. Otherwise, the OSS programs should be on the DD ISO you can download from your account.
