WIN 7 does not recognize new partition
Dell XPS 8700 running WIN 7 Home, 64bit. External Seagate GoFlex 500Gb drive. Running DD 11, Update 2, Build 11.0.2343.
I partitioned the Seagate drive into two 250Gb volumes; successful. But the new partition does not appear under WIN 7. So I partitioned the "new" partition into a new 100Gb volume.; successful in DD11. When I looked under WIN 7, the new partition (Drive Q) appeared for a moment and then disappeared. There is about 20Gb of data in the second half of the Seagate drive and I can see the files in DD 11. I looked and the drive is not "hidden", either in WIN 7 or DD 11. Anyone have ideas why I can't see this volume under WIN 7? Tnx. Sepp

That turned out to be the case. I clicked on the partition and chose "assign drive letter". Windows sees it now. Tnx
