Does it work correctly with a SSD ?

Thread needs solution

I am using an Corsair 128 GB SSD as only drive. The disc drive monitor displays an alarm status of 24%. The s.m.a.r.t. messages look like:
"Wert des S.M.A.R.T.-Attributs 'Soft Read Error Rate' (id-201) hat sich geändert. Alter Wert: 88. Neuer Wert: 107. Status: Achtung."
Every minute 2 of these messages are generated.

Furthermore under "Kritische Ereignisse" various messages like
2011/03/15 19:41:41 Hoch Achtung Ntfs 57
appear.

As everything is running nicely, I ignore these Cassandra rubbish. However, is it really rubbish ?

Download Hard Disk Sentinel or similar and see if it reports the same problem.

My SSD is reported correctly.

I too have a temperature reporting problem with an SSD. Mine is a Corsair CSSD-F120GB2. Error on Disk Monitor shows 201 degrees and online feedback shows 94 degrees (obviously 201 C). I seriously doubt that the reported temp is right, since my PC is setting right next to me and has normally cool air exiting the case. I have attached the Disk Overview display:

I just checked the Corsair with the Hard Disk Sentinel: everything perfect.

It seems that the Acronis Drive monitor is not suitable for the SSD.

It might not be working with your SSD, but clearly from my snip shot it works with a Crucial 300.

The problem probably is due to the fact that there is no SMART standard, each drive manufacturer has their own method and choice on what to report. Some even differ between models in a range.
