Cannot Deploy anymore !

Thread needs solution

A few weeks ago we were suddenly not able to image PC's anymore. Basically the deployment "appears" to go as it should and the progress bar goes up, but far too quickly to actually copy the image over. It then states it has completed successfully.

However once you reboot the machine you get the message " Error loading operating system".

I have tried this in another (same hardware) PC (Dell Optiplex 740), and also tried to image a laptop with its own image. All the images I have created were created uniquely for each different hardware, not using universal deploy.

I have confirmed the image is not corrupted via the check image utility in the management console, and also restored a backup of the image, but still the same results.

I have also tried imaging via a USB device just in case it suddenly was a network issue but then get this message:
E00040011 Specified file does not exist.
Please insert the last media of the archive and click Retry to continue. Otherwise click Cancel to stop the operation.

I am booting the machine using the latest boot disk and using the standalone utility. I have in the past used the management console, however this inexplicably also stopped working some time ago as it kept rebooting the client evertime I started the image deployment. Acronis recommended I use the standalone utility instead!

So here we are and I am now at a total loss as to what to do.

Any help would be appreciated. I have contacted Acronis Tech support, but so far no one has a clue what is going on. Not impressed at all so far.

Thanks in advance for any light shed on this major problem!
