How to update the master images

Thread needs solution

I have created the master images several months ago using different templates based on windows machines.

I'm searching for the simplest and most effective method of maintaining the disk images. For example, installing windows and program updates.

Is there no possibility of starting the master images similar to a local virtual machine and updating the os? If i use a virtual machine in vmware workstation as master image template, I will consume a snap deploy licence every time i do an update.

This is what I would really like to know! I hope soon response comes

Hello Everyone,

there is no possibility to add any changes to an already created master image. Master image is very similar to a backup file and not to a virtual machine.

However, creating a new master image from time to time shouldn't be a problem because imaging itself doesn't require any license.

Thank you.

What I do is to keep a machine(or multiple machines depending on how many machine models you have) handy that we use to dump the image to, update it and then upload it. The only downside is that it can does tie up a license

Yes, I find that there is a solution to go get desdoons that you can mount in as virtual pc and then update etc and then create a new image of weather. The image for
Maintenance is very important.
