Hello Shawn!

Welcome to our Forum, we're glad to greet you here! I understand your concern and will do my best to help you.

"Processing..." message appears when PXE is loading the bootable components. It's hard to tell why it gets stuck on that step, but we have a solution for it that should help. I will send you the instructions via Private message in a minute and would appreciate if you could keep us posted regarding the problem.

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

I too am having this issue. I am able to boot Snap Deploy successfully on a number of different systems, but on Asus Eee 1005HAB laptops it hangs at "Processing, please wait..."

I'm runing build 3329. I've tried the PXELinux boot, but it gives me the same error.

Please help, I'm on a deadline to get these done.

I discovered that I'm able to boot to the Stand-alone Utility off of a USB Flash Drive (these laptops have no CD drive), and image off an external HD, but am still not able to boot to Snap Deploy off any of them.

This makes it a rather laborious process since I only have 2 HDs big enough for my image, but a lot of laptops to go through.

Dear Dustin!

Hello Yana
My Asus K52F laptop seems not to recognize the NIC JMicron JMC25x Gigabit Ethernet Controller.
It keeps saying "Processing, please wait..." after I start Snap Deploy.
Is this a driver issue? I hope you can help me with this.

Thank you

Dirk

Solution: Please contact Acronis Customer Central to be provided with a version of Acronis Bootable Media that has the fix.

Hello Dirk,

Thank you for your comments!

This problem has actually been fixed in the latest build, we have requested the update for the KB article to contain this information.

If you still experience this issue after the update, it will require investigation. Can you send us the report, requested by Anton in this comment

Should you need anything else or have any further questions - feel free to contact us at your earliest convenience, we will be happy to help you!

Thank you!

Dear Dirk,

Thank you for the information provided, I really appreciate it.

I've carefully checked the log, and here's what we have:

The problem was resolved with Atheros NIC, which ID is 1969:1073, when your NIC, according to the sysinfo is 1969:1083, that's a different NIC from the one we've tested the issue with. I've contacted the Development team regarding the issue, so here's the plan:

I'm going to provide you with the unreleased custom build, which is reported to contain the needed drivers, via PM. You will proceed with the full update of the software and check if the issue remains. Should it be present, regather Acronis Linux Report, screenshots of the issue if possible and Acronis Info from the machine hosting OS Deploy Server or Management Console.

Let me know if you have any questions, I will be glad to address them.

Thank you.

Hello Yana

I've installed the update. Now the program works fine, the NIC is recognized.
Once again your assistance was great.

THANK YOU!!!

Hello Yana

Now that the problem with the unknown NIC is solved -which is great!- I have a new one: the deployment AND the creation of images have both become extremely SLOW after I updated it with the build you provided me. Not only the new machine deploys very slowly (it took me more than 3 houres to deploy an image of 6 GB), but now I experience the same lack of speed with 'old' machines too, that in the past needed only 15 minutes to complete a deployment. I did the test in exactly the same circumstances as when everyting still went fine.
I hope you have a solution for this also...

Yours sincerely
Dirk
