Snap Deploy 3 - TFTP Error
While attempting to PXE boot, I am faced with TFTP Error 0 Unable to Load File. It appears that this issue is stemming from the Acronis File Service.
The first boot in the attached screen shot is with the Acronis File Service running on the server (both PXE and DHCP server). The client attempts to load the kernel but is unable to.
The second boot in the screen shot is after I killed the Acronis File Service with task manager. I installed an open source TFTP to try and debug the problem. With the open source server, it was able to begin loading the kernel, but is either taking forever, or is stuck somehow.
The TFTP problem has existed throughout working on this project (before I installed the open source TFTP server).

Alexander,
I had been using a trial version when the above problem existed. I am currently using build 3329 (which I downloaded today after purchasing the licenses). I believe the problem will still exist when I figure out the problem below...
After installing all the new components of Snap Deploy, the Acronis PXE Server service will no longer start. It is reporting Error Code 1, but I cannot find what that indicates anywhere. I verified that port 69 is not in use (I saw that it might cause problems).
Thanks.

hi yana,
im using build 3329. If by uploading the bootable components, you mean: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Acronis\PXEServer\Bootmenu, than i have nothing in that folder. Whats the next step?
thank you in advance.

Hello Mike,
Thank you for replying. Please allow me to assist you.
I have checked, and I can see that Yana sent you a private message via our forum. You should be able to view it from the left navigation panel, My Account - My bookmarks - Messages. It should say Messages (1).
The reason the folder that you refer to is empty is caused by the fact that there are no components uploaded to the PXE server. You can refer to page 42 in our User Guide for additional information.
I will also follow-up with another private message with the same instructions that Yana sent you.
Please let me know if you have additional questions.
Thank you.
