Snap Deploy 4, cannot deploy image to Lenovo T440s SSD drive

Thread needs solution

Hello,
I am having an issue with deployment of Windows 7 images. I am hoping someone can lend some advice. I am trying to create and deploy an image on new, identical Lenovo T440s laptops that use 180gb SSD hard drives. I am using a usb thumb drive with Standalone utility and Master image creator installed on it. The thumb drive was created using the latest .540 build. The master image that is being created is being stored on to an external Buffalo 2TB hard drive. I can successfully create the image from the source machine. I check the box that selects the entire disk when I am selecting which partitions on the source to create an image of. I use the validation option when creating and it comes back with no errors.
After creating the image, I move my usb thumb drive and my usb cable for the external drive over to the next laptop. I power up the laptop and boot to the thumb drive and launch the standalone utility. I am able to use the gui to browse to my external drive and select my image file. I leave the options as default. I start the deployment and immediately I get an error box that pops up and reads..

E00770021: Deployment has completed with errors.
Failed to deploy the image to target disk 1. Possibly, the disk size is less then the source image or the image may be corrupt.
Error code 0x3300021
Tag 0x100FE7C3207C54AE.

Consequently, my target system is left black with roughly 167gb of unallocated space. The original setup on the target machines before I the error had 4 partitions.

I have tested the setup on an older desktop setup which uses sata drives, and it works flawlessly. This leads me to believe that this problem is due to the type of system I am working with (Lenovo T440s).

Has anyone experienced the same problem and have resolved it? Thanks.

Go into the T440's bios and check if the hard drive is set to AHCI mode or compatibility mode. If its set to AHCI, try compatibility or vice versa and try imaging again.

Thanks for the reply. There is no AHCI option in the bios for these machines. Fortunately I was able to resolve the issue by updating the Lenovo bios to the latest 2.27 revision. There must of been a bug that was resolved. Take care.
