UEFI WinPE Bootable USB

Thread needs solution

Ok. Try as I have, I can not get this to work. None of the sticks end up being able to boot on a UEFI system. I have formatted numerous ways, looked at various guides on the web to no avail.

I was hoping for something simple since the amount of UEFI systems is increasing and with Windows 8/8.1

I need help please.

Hello TS Team,

PE-media in Acronis Snap Deploy cannot be started in the UEFI mode.

If you have any difficulties with hardware recognition using standard Linux-based media, please contact our support team.

Thank you.

When will there be an update?

It seems Snap Deploy 4 does not support Win PE 5.0 so I cannot build media on the server with it. I also cant create a custom PE5 based media as Acronis fails.

Where is the full 8.1 support?

Is Snap Deploy 4 being updated anymore? It seems the last real update was Oct of 2012.

Please give me an update.

Thanks,

Hello TS Team,

we are planning to release a new update for Acronis Snap Deploy 4, but currently there is no information about Windows 8.1 support.

I will keep you updated.

Thank you.

Hi Anna
is there any update on this?

TS Team
were you able to make it work with out an acronis update?

Thanks
Oscar

Oscar,

No I wasnt. Due to the constant delays we have moved on from Acronis and currently using SCCM 2012 R2.

I hope support for 8.1 eventually comes out for Snap Deploy 5.

Hello Everyone,

I'm very sorry for such a delay!

I'm glad to let you know that recently we've finally released Acronis Snap Deploy 5.

If you have a valid Acronis Advantage maintenance (or license was purchased less than a year ago and, thus, has initial support period not expired) you can receive upgrades to Acronis Snap Deploy 5 under MyAccount. Please find more details here: Acronis Snap Deploy 5: Upgrade Policy

Thank you.
