I have 15 Windows Vista Home Basic PCs that I want to roll out a standard setup to?
What Acronis product could I use?
Someone told me that Vista Home cannot be 'imaged'. Is this true?
All opinions welcomed?

Welcome to our Forum, it's nice that you've joined us! I completely understand your concern and will be glad to assist you.

There is no such Windows OS that cannot be imaged, so you don't need to worry about it.

In case you want all machines to have the similar set up and configuration, you will need Acronis Snap Deploy 3 for PCs. It will allow you to create an image of any system and deploy it to other machines. You can find more details regarding its installation and functionality in the Installation and User's Guides.

I would advise you to test the solution first before making a decision. You can find trial version here. This version is fullfunctional and has no limitations except:

  1. 15 days of work
  2. Only 5 machines can be deployed

Please also note that according to the Acronis License Policy you will need one license for one computer your are going to deploy. Thus imaging a machine doesn't require license key.
