Acronis 2016 won't let me restore a file.

Thread needs solution

I'm trying to restore a file that strangely dissapeared. I tried to restore and go an error stating it was looking for a back up file that didn't exist. I went to browse and chose the file and still get the same error.... help!!!

From your brief description in the post above, it sounds as if you have been manually deleting backup files from your storage drive instead of using the options for automatic cleanup provided in the Acronis task configuration settings.

Deleting files manually leaves information behind in the Acronis Database which still is looking for the missing / deleted files.

Please run a Validation for your backup tasks and take the Ignore option on all the popup messages that are presented for each of the missing / deleted files and this should help to reconcile the Database with the actual state of files available on your storage drive.
