Acronis KB login issues

Thread needs solution

While searching for answers about a recent "Backup file is corrupted" error message using Acronis Rescue Media, I encountered this interesting page in Acronis website:

https://kb.acronis.com/sites/default/files/content/2005/12/1517/png_1.h…

Near the bottom of the page, on the right, there is a box that suggests: "Gather Acronis Linux Report after a corrupt backup is created. Click for instructions".

Even though I had found the likely reason for the problem, I was still curious to find out what the Linux report would contain about it, so I clicked on the box and landed at this page:

https://kb.acronis.com/user/login?destination=system/files/content/2005…

I then filled out the User Name and Password fields but was unable, even after various repeats, to enter this seemingly so well protected "Knowledge Base" page to where I had been directed by the above mentioned box in the Troubleshooting page...

Attached is an image of the response I got. Can someone kindly provide guidance or an explanation for such an unexpected result?

Thanks in advance.

LinYu, whenever I have hit the issue of being asked for login credentials for the Acronis KB pages it has been caused by obsolete pages which have been removed during previous reorganisations of the KB.

All the available pages should not require any additional credentials to be provided.

In terms of any Acronis Linux Report there are no Acronis True Image products that will run natively on Linux platforms - you would need to look at some of the other Acronis business products for that type of support.

Acronis True Image does use Linux for its standard Rescue Media but this is just an OS launch pad for running the Acronis True Image application with no access to the Linux OS beneath.  You can create an Acronis System Report and also access Log files for any backup or recovery tasks performed when booted from the linux media, provided you do this whilst still booted in that environment.
