Acronis TruImage 2016 fails to run

Thread needs solution

I have been using Acronis TruImage for many years. Some while ago I upgraded to TruImage 2016 and I have used it successfully for some months. However the programme has ceased functioning and I get the error message 'Cannot create a data base'.

I have reinstalled the programme but still get the same error message.

Keith - seems like the database has corrupted.  It's an easy fix though...

Open control panel >>> Administrative tools >>> services (right click services and run as administrator).

Stop the 4 Acronis services

Navigate to the HIDDEN folder...  C:\ProgramData\Acronis\TrueImageHome\Database     rename the database folder to something like database.old

Restart the Acronis services (I leave NSB disabled since i never use nonstop backups and I set it to manual so it doesn't start up at reboot, but that's just me)

Launch Acronis again and hopefully all is well.
