After a backup completes, I get an error Message and the backup cannot be read.

Thread needs solution

This is a versioning backup and it ran fine for 2 weeks.  Version 1 is sitting on the backup drive.

I want close this issue as well.  I got the solution from my other post where I was having a similar problem, but on a different computer.   The solution was the same.  The permissions on the backup device needed to be changed so the the User accounts had read/write.

I have no clue why the software would create and save the backup only to have it fail upon read.  You would think it would not be able to write.  Nevertheless change in permisions solved this problem as well.   I ran the backup today and it worked as it should.

Much thanks go to FtrPilot!!
