Automated Backup and Recovery via Windows PE

Thread needs solution

I have created a Windows PE partition with integrated acronis based on the WinPE BootCD created by the Acronis Tool, so I can choose to boot from a seperate harddisk to run the backup and recovery operations, but they are UI based and there is no possibility to create a task for either of the backup or recovery operations so I'd like to know if I can use the command line acronis true image executeable so I don't have to setup all the options (source disk and partitions) to start the process?

Thanks in advance!

There's no command line support in True Image, either in the Windows or WinPE versions. Acronis Backup 12 does have command line support in WinPE. I haven't played with it enough to know if it can do all you need.

Hello DarKxRaideR, if you are looking for automation of operations like entire system recovery, and, maybe, centralized console for that, then I recommend you checking the trial version of Acronis Snap Deploy: http://www.acronis.com/en-us/business/enterprise-solutions/image-deployment/

Slava

Thanks for the suggestion, I will try out the trial version.
