Can you pause just one Sync?

I have 2 Syncs running on ATI2016.  One is the default Sync (which so far as I can understand it is impossible to delete) and one is a Sync I have created between my 3 home PCs and the Cloud.  My problem is that for some reason the default Sync never completes whereas the other Sync runs fine.

I want to pause the default Sync and leave the other one working so that I stop getting the message "Synchronisation has failed".  However when I pause the default Sync it seems to pause both of them.

Is there anyway to just pause one Sync?  Thanks

Hello Jeremy, I have looked through the forum, knowledgebase and product documentation and cannot see any method whereby you can pause the default Sync - this is designed to always run as far as I can see!

In the ATIH 2016 User Guide section 8.5.1 for Default sync, it states:

  • The default sync always syncs with the Acronis Cloud. You cannot unsync the storage.
  • The contents of the default sync folder automatically sync with the default sync folders on other computers registered under the same Acronis account.
  • It also automatically syncs with your mobile devices that have True Image app installed.

You may want to read through post: https://forum.acronis.com/forum/94875 where other users have raised issues about the behaviour of the sync process.

I would recommend using the Feedback option (found in the Help section of ATIH 2016 GUI) and pass back your comments / feedback on the design of sync and the features that you would wish to see in this aspect of the product.

Many thanks for your reply.  From reading the post you reference, I think I will have to try uninstalling ATI2016 and reinstalling to see if I can "reset" the default sync.

I will post news when I have tried this out.
