Cloud account, how do I disable my cloud account and keep using true image 2016

Thread needs solution

I like paying for and using true image 2016 but I hate having a cloud account and do NOT want my information or anything backed up to the cloud.  So why do I have to have this stupid cloud account and why did I get a message that it was just activated for a free 30 day trial when I already have a paid for account.  Why does you website make it so hard to stop.  It should be very simple to go to one page and click on the account options that you want active and want disabled.  This is not rocket science.  Please help me disable the cloud account without turning off my other services.

Barry, this has been raised by other users with Acronis and we await to see how this may be handled in future versions of the product.

For the current ATIH 2016 version you have no obligation to use the free 30-day trial of the Cloud and if you did, then any data saved to the Cloud would be deleted automatically after a further 30 days from the end of the trial period.

You can choose to not sign-in with your Acronis Account within the ATIH 2016 GUI but if you do, you will then be presented with a sign-in panel every time you launch the program - which again has been raised with Acronis!

I would recommend using the Feedback tool in the GUI Help section to register your own comments on this issue.  This is a user forum and we have no guarantee that anyone from Acronis will read your comments from the forum, whereas the feedback does go directly to them.
