Lse, what type of backup are you making here? Is this a Disks & Partitions backup or a Files & Folders backup?

Lse, I don't have access to a system running ATIH 2016 at the moment, but if I try to add an exclusion for a folder with a .name using wildcards then this doesn't work and isn't added if I follow the normal Windows convention of using *\.name\* - the obvious method of excluding such a folder for a Disks & Partitions backup is to click on the Browse option [...] (at the right end of the entry field) and selecting the root folder path to the .git folder to be excluded. This will give you a full path exclusion entry, i.e. C:\Users\MyName\.git\ which will work correctly.

Hello,
C:\Users\myname\.git\ does not exist here (Win 10 Home x64, ATI2016)
Is it a difference between Home and Pro, or 32/64bit?

.git is used by a third-party application, not a part of Windows.
