I get that message too, and again, all my backups seem OK anyhow.
Did Acronis forget to include a digital signature somewhere where the software expects one?

Hi All,
it is a known problem which was reported to development and will be fixed soon.
The message can be safely ignored.
Thank you,

I hope it's ok to tag onto the end of this thread as my error message is the same as the above but with the following line after it also:
error:0D0680A8:asn1 encoding routines:func(104):reason(168)
I read somewhere that this can be related to source disc errors but I have performed a disc integrity check and no errors were found.
Can anyone please suggest what else may be causing the errors please ?
Thank you in advance.

It appears this has been a problem for quite some time. I have only very recently purchased Acronis True Image 2016 and am in the process of performing my initial backup. I repeatedly get the message below. This seems to be related to the known problem referred to by Anna Trifonova and should be fixed soon. Is my assupmption correct Anna?

2 True Image 11/22/2015 8:14:33 AM error:0D07207B:asn1 encoding routines:func(114):reason(123)

Joe,
Have you validated the successful file to see if it passes validation?
An additional option would be to create a backup (with validation activaed) when booted from the TI Recovery CD.

Grover,
I know that in my case, verification has always suceeded (and I've been able to recover files also).
The same error messages occur with either complete or file backups. And they are always there.
Acronis TS writes that this is a known problem, and that the messages can be ignored. I wonder how long it will take for a fix.

Thanks Ron,
I am just attempting to make sure the others posting on this thread have verified that their tib files pass validation.
