Failure to create backup due to "no current partition" error message

Thread needs solution

Can't figure this one out. Backup failed due to "no current partition" error, but the target drive has plenty of space and has only just come up with this error as part of the backup chain. Anuy ideas would be appreciated.

Ken, welcome to these public User Forums.

The 'no current partition' refers to the Source selection for your backup task and is most commonly caused by Windows 10 upgrades to new builds when partition identifiers are changed due to a new Recovery partition being created.

The solution is to reselect the Source for the task, and if needed, to do the same for the Destination too.
