Festplatte anstecken Zwang

Thread needs solution

Hallo,

habe folgendes Problem:

Hello, have the following problem:
1. I do not want the backup disk (USB) permanently on the computer infected (encryption Trojans).
2. The user of the computer (family member) are not very disciplined and not put the plate by itself to.
Can I set a "forced connection" of the hard disk with Acronis True Image; or what solution would be alternatively possible that I will create a local encryption trojan secure backup?
Thank you for assistance.

There have been a number of discussions in the forum recently with this same concern to protect against ransomware, viruses, trojans etc.

Most of these posts recommend adopting a greater level of account security within Windows, i.e. not using an Administrator account by default so that any infection has minimum authority to cause damage; second is the use of an external NAS backup drive with restricted admin account access that only Acronis uses (I use this method myself with my Synology Disk Station NAS).  You can also run the Acronis backup tasks using an account only for that purpose but this can be negated by having a USB drive connected which is accessible by all user accounts on the system.
