Flash drive v other USB drive
Hi - newbie question here.
I want to create a bootable USB clone of my hard drive, but am having difficulty finding a flash drive that is big enough to contain it. I found a 128Gb Fat32 flash drive, but it is about 22Gb too small.
I have no problems finding external hard drives that are big enough. Sky is the limit there. But some months ago I had problems because it was not a Flash drive. Sadly I cannot remember why it was a problem, but I think it was something Acronis-related.
Not much help for you guys, but perhaps someone can confirm
1) that the clone feature to create a bootable backup can work with a general external USB drive, and
2) Are there any features in Acronis that require that you use a flash drive?
thanks

Hello Jack,
Please also see the following comment on how to workaround the limitation with removable hard drives, it could be helpful in your case: http://forum.acronis.com/forum/110893#comment-324049

Thank you. Noted for future reference. For now I have somehow managed to lose another 22 GB so it is down to the right size for the flash drive
