Latest update - Windows Explorer Broken

Thread needs solution

Just installed the latest update and had the need to restore a file the following day, today.  I used to be able to open a backup tib file with Windows Explorer but now WE just chases its tail.  Meaning it just comes back to the folder tree where the tib file was selected after "Open" is choosen.

Sounds like the upgrade did not go as planned.  Acronis issued a hotfix for moutning .tibs.  I'd try it to see if if helps at all.  If it does, cool.  Mount error hotfix 

If not, I would download the 6559 installer from your account and run by right clicking and "run as administrator".  Do you get an option to repair?  If so, try the repair and reboot and then see if that works.

If not, the final item to try would be to run a full ATIH cleanup and a fresh reinstall.  I'd recommend using the clean tool as per the instructions in this post:
