Mount command leaves large files in TEMP directory

Thread needs solution

After mounting and unmounting a TIB file, the TEMP directory contains a directory named tmpd*.tmp with files like Backup_full_*.mount and Backup_*.tib. These files may be very big and they don’t seem to be automatically deleted even after the TIB is unmounted.

Perhaps these temp directories could be automatically deleted by True Image once all the volumes are unmounted.

Thanks.

Are you performing a specific unmount command?

If I remember correctly, you can right click on the mounted drive letter and the unmount optiion is there for convenience.

CCleaner can be trained to clear that temp folder if interested.

Yes, I am unmounting all the drives that were mounted by the mount command. I'm basically right-clicking the mounted drives in Windows Explorer and choosing Unmount. I haven't found any other way to unmount volumes (some other window in the UI?).

Yes, I'm using other methods to delete the created temp folders, but thought I'd inform Acronis of this so that they can centrally solve the issue for everyone, including people not using other methods (such as CCleaner).

Thanks.
