Need Build 6571 Install On CD
Hi folks.
I think it good practice to have purchased software on CD/DVD so that in worst case scenario the OS and all purchased software can be installed fresh.
I recently purchased an upgrade to True Image 2016 and ironically, because Arcronis is all about backup, I am having difficulty finding a way to burn an iso of build 6571 to disk.
Please advise and thanks!

Hi Tom K ...
I do not have an iso file. This is precisely what I expect Acronis to provide.
Acronis provided me an online install link that downloaded an installer. Very similar to how Microsoft provides installers.
Upon running the installer ... a screen immediately asked if the newest update is preferred. I did not hesitate and chose the latest and greatest.
Previously, I had paid extra to have True Image 2011 on CD mailed to my residence. This time around I hoped to just burn my own copy and also enjoy fast access to the product via the online download. True Image 2016 did install nicely and appears to be working. I can view tib file of entire system saved to a pair of mirrored drives set up using Storage Spaces ... but I have yet to test a recovery of system to a fresh drive (I hope to do this soon). I recently built a new machine after my 13 year old system died and now I am striving to automate backups and use a lot of drive redundancy. From what I have read ... mirrored internal HDDs should be less problematic than attached Home NAS systems? I am striving to have a killer backup methodology and True Image is a big part of my plans. I take note that in this article >>
http://www.howtogeek.com/220986/how-to-use-all-of-windows-10%E2%80%99s-…
... that True Image is both mentioned and has more features than the built-in Windows 10 backup tools.
Although I consider True Image "the best choice" ... I desire the confidence provided by having the True Image program on CD. Thus if ever needed ... I can build fresh and load major software without being connected online.

A bit off topic --
I have also purchased a fairly economical external, USB 3.0 dual bay clone docking station that will allow easily made cloned drives to be created and stored in gun safe and offsite (safety deposit box). Cloud solutions are interesting ... but they too must be tested and what of recovery done offline? This low cost gizmo I mention can be seen here >>

A .iso file is not required. The download install file "AcronisTrueImage2016_6571.exe" is a stand-alone installer. It does not have to be connected to the internet to complete an install. All you would have to do is copy the file to a CD or DVD.

Thank you FtrPilot!
Knowing what I need is most of the battle.
I checked my Acronis and Downloads folders and the closest I can find >> AcronisTrueImage2016_web.exe
This file is what I have been calling the "installer" and was the program that prompted if I wanted latest build.
Any insider scoop on where to get >> "AcronisTrueImage2016_6571.exe" ? :)

Off topic ...
Being honest about my first impressions of TI-2016 >> I have prejudices against Cloud solutions and I was initially a bit put off by the "Cloud dominate" user interface that is perhaps wonderful for those that like, can afford, and use Cloud solutions. I wish there was a sticky toggle to choose between two interfaces >> "with/without" Cloud. And perhaps have that toggle default to "without" if the user's account indicates they have no Cloud subscription.
I must also acknowledge I am now using a new desktop and have the luxury of having some hard drive redundancy specifically for data/system stability via automated backups. If I were using a resource limited notebook and was working outside the office/home ... I would *love* Cloud based connectivity and having the robustness of some serious hardware having my back. If I was involved in providing 1st class Cloud service to the masses ... I would be proud of that achievement. The flip side is the little guy trying to stretch each nickle and if they really value their data or suffer a bit of privacy paranoia ... perhaps that data deserves some efforts of being managed locally? Having both can be best. I have lived through natural disaster (hurricane) and been without power for 2 weeks. My next door neighbors lost their roof to a tornado during the hurricane. So you never know when fire, burgulary, hardware failure, operator error, or other circumstances can take from you ... so the common advice to have some sort of offsite recovery plan is extremily important.

jf911,
I am sure that many of the users in these forums will agree with your Off topic... comments, and many have raised the issue of the default Acronis Cloud presentation in the latest versions, though simply signing in with your Acronis account user name / password will change the default to whatever section of the application you were last using when you closed it down.
As to offsite backup / recovery, I guess that none of us know if / when a disaster could strike and the majority may never experience such an event, but for the ones that do, that is the time when reality checks in and you get to test how good your plans really are!
I would encourage you to use the Feedback tool in the ATIH Help section and pass on your comments more directly to the Acronis developers, especially with regards to a user toggle etc.
